- Take a Breathtaking Historic Scenic Railway, through Australia’s Barron Gorge National Park, viewing
waterfalls, arriving at Kuranda, the “Village in the Rainforest”;
- Enjoy the Aboriginal Dancers perform a range of native dances & take
a Dreamtime walk for an insight into their history;
- While in the rainforest, have an unique experience, riding in an
amphibious Army Duck;
- Ride a Cable Car in the sky,
experiencing the rainforest from above the canopy;
- Sydney City Tour – viewing numerous sites such as: the Harbor Bridge,
Sydney’s world famous Bondi Beach, Homebush Bay, the site of the 2000 Olympics &
we will take a special guided tour inside the Sydney Opera House;
- Tour the spectacular “World Heritage” Blue Mountains National Park. In
the park, taking skyway cars for a birds-eye view;
- Visit Featherdale Wildlife Park to see the local animals such as
kangaroos, wombats, dingoes, fairy penguins & koalas (you can hold a koala
& take your photo for a fee at the park);
- We will celebrate our unforgettable journey with a Farewell Dinner from
a restaurant with a view of the city from the sky
Not Included: Airline departure taxes (approx. $215) and fuel surcharge (approx.
$680). Tips & gratuities are not
included.
Note: Non-CSSC members will need to join the club during the 60-day initial
sign-up period. After 60 days, if spaces are still available, to confirm a
reservation an additional payment of $40 to CSSC will be required.
RESERVATION AND
CANCELLATION POLICY:
To confirm a reservation a $200 deposit, payable to “New Horizon Tours”
is required. Final payment is due August, 22, 2013. Second payment of $500 is
due January 30, 2013 and a third payment of $500 is due May 1, 2013.
Cancellation more than 120 days prior to departure is $100; cancellation from
119 – 90 days prior to departure is $175; cancellation from 89 to 60 days prior
to departure is $400; cancellation from 59 days to 46 days prior to departure
is $600; cancellation within 45 days will have no refund unless a
replacement is found and then a name change fee of $100.00 is required. There is a $15.00 charge for all returned
checks.
Trip cancellation insurance is recommended and can be purchased from New
Horizon Tours.
Note: Prices are based on double occupancy, you are
responsible to choose your own roommate, or a roommate will be selected from
the group list, if one is available. Double occupancy is not guaranteed. The single
supplement is $1149. You
must be in good physical health to participate on this trip.
