Special hike and picnic on Valentine’s Day!

Rain the day before or day of cancels hike

DESCRIPTION OF HIKE: Moderate 6-mile hike with 725’ of elevation gain/loss. We’ll park at Oak Park Campground ($5 per vehicle). Hike is rated moderate for length and elevation. Very fit beginners welcome. The length of the hike is about 3 hours.

PREPAREDNESS: Bring 2-3 liters/quarts of water (or other suitable liquid). Lug-soled shoes are appropriate footwear. No slick tennis shoes.

BRING: Your lunch and favorite beverage, and leave it in the car. We will picnic in the park after the hike.
