Have you ever thought about snow skiing in Japan?
On July 7th, a guest from the Japan National Tourism Organization will give a short presentation on Skiing in Japan early in the meeting. Niseko is Japan’s premier international ski destination, located on Hokkaido island, roughly 60 miles south of Sapporo. Famous worldwide for its abundant, lightweight “Japow” powder, the mountain complex spans 2,191 acres and features 4 interconnected resorts accessible with a single pass. The Niseko Village is a dining and retail village hub and is IKON. Estimate without air $2,500-$2,700.
Our out of state ski trips for 2027 are being finalized. We are going to have sign ups for the out of state ski trips on August 4th for the Aspen/Snowmass trip and August 18th for the Whistler trip at the ski club meetings. Shirley and Lauren will attend the meeting tonight to give you more information on the trips.
We are looking for great trips and trip leaders for 2027. If you have a great travel idea please contact Carolyn 805-796-7015.
Bring your friends to the meetings the Board will give you and your first time guest 10 raffle tickets and their guest 30 raffle tickets. All first time guests receive 30 raffle tickets. The guest must fill out a contact form at membership and guests only receive the tickets one time.
If you have not purchased your ski passes for next winter you can still buy them through Sports America for the 2026 – 2027 season. When you purchase your ski passes through the links below it helps the Conejo Ski Club financially and allows us to improve the ski trip’s amenities. It costs you the same or less whether you purchase them directly from Ikon or through Sports America. We have trips planned in 2027 to Mammoth, Snowmass and Whistler. Mammoth and Snowmass both accept Ikon base passes. Mammoth has unlimited days and Snowmass 5 days. Both with some black out dates. Whistler requires Epic passes. More information on purchasing Epic Passes will be sent out shortly.
Club members have priority on all wait lists. But membership is easy!
