Los Angeles Council of Ski Clubs (LAC) covers approximately 25 ski and snowboard clubs in the Los Angeles basin. LAC is one of twelve councils within the Far West Ski Association (FWSA), encompassing Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, South Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. We are a Charter Member of the National Ski Council Federation.
Most clubs are active year-round with numerous activities. Look for a club in your area and join. As a Los Angeles Council ski club member, you can participate in all aspects of both the Los Angeles Council and the Far West Ski Association. This includes ski trips, camping, weekend outings, and international travel. Individual member benefits are provided from time to time.
Los Angeles Council is associated with the Far West Ski Association and the National Ski Council Federation. These organizations offer discounts to club members on many items such as helmets, goggles, outdoor sporting gear, and services such as ski rentals, car rental, resort stays, and more!
